Transfer and Production of Crude oil in Caspian sea area countries (Swap)
to Northern & Central Iranian refineries
In this plan crude oil of Caspian Sea area countries would be imported to Neka port and then transferred to Iranian northern and central refinery to be used for local consumption. Instead, Iranian crude oil would be swapped in southern terminals in Persian Gulf.
This plan includes the following projects:
1. Installation of loading arms and storage tanks beside Neka port.
2. Construction of 32”- 30” crude oil pipe line and pump station from Neka to Rey terminal in length of 315km and capacity of 500,000 barrels/ day in final phase.
3. Tehran and Tabriz refineries modification project.
The Pars duties in this project include basic and detail engineering, material and equipment engineering services and site supervision of EPC contractor. The first and second phases of this project have been completed and are operated with the capacity of 370,000 barrels per stream day.
The crude oil transfer project includes a pipeline of Diameter 32", length of 315Km and a capacity of 500,000 barrels/ day in the final phase and four pumping stations (Neka, Sari, Gol Pol and Ourim stations), a relief post in Moghanak and a terminal in Rey. This pipeline is started in Neka pumping station and passes through the aforementioned pumping stations and relief post and enters into Rey Oil Terminal.
The details of duties for this project include design and engineering services, material supply and equipment provision all the works and commissioning by EPC contractor. The first and second phases of this project have been completed and are operated with the capacity of 370,000 barrels/ day.
