Zanjan - Tabriz Freeway with the length of 285km is a part of the integrated Tehran-Bazargan Freeway, which facilitated the road-based connections among five provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Ghazvin, Zanjan and East Azrebaijan. The possibility of continuing the project up to Bazargan border is one of the potential advantages of this plan, which will provide the benefit of increasing attraction of international cargo and increased share of Islamic Republic of Iran from the cargo transit market in the region.

- Trenches and Depot Excavation: 119,859,000 m3
- Embankment: 58,090,000 m3
- Technical Strcutures: 2,949,000 m3
